Grand Rapids, MI – January 10, 2023 – Arivium, a technology product development company and distributor of life sciences, research and other products and related services, states that ArLIMS™ processed more than 420,000 tests for SARS-COV2 (“Covid”) during the two-year pandemic span of June 2020 through summer of 2022.  The laboratory information management system (LIMS), which has been used for 9 years to facilitate the complete business workflow for pharmacogenomics sample testing, was enhanced for the pandemic to handle the spike in testing volume.  Early in the pandemic period it was determined that ArLIMS needed to include previously manual tasks surrounding the sample handling process to handle the volume, along with regulations to report findings to state health agencies for exposure tracking and population health analysis.
